Everyday
Button-up
-
Our everyday button-up uses 100% linen materials. Ethically sourced and crafted in India.
The Dye we use on these materials are 100% natural from the earth. We use avocado skin, coffee grounds, and turmeric to color our fabric.

We have two current options. We can do local drop off to those who are from Western Colorado! We also offer shipping with an added fee within the boarder of the United States. We hope to expand to International Shipping in the future.
-
Our pieces are customized by color, and if you contact us we are able to do tailoring to your body shape. Please expect a delay in shipping when receiving custom tailoring.

About US
against the grain, we believe fashion should reflect purpose and conviction. Rooted in faith and dedicated to sustainability, we create ethically crafted, plant-dyed clothing that honors people and the planet.
Each piece is handmade in Colorado using natural materials and dyes, ensuring that what you wear is beautiful and intentional. We stand against fast fashion, waste, and compromise, instead embracing slow, ethical craftsmanship that glorifies the Creator and respects His creation.
Our name, against the grain, reflects more than just how we create—it’s how we live. We are called to walk a different path, to stand firm in our values, and to offer something truly meaningful in a world of mass production.
We invite you to wear clothing with a story, a mission, and a purpose—because when you go against the grain, you step into something greater.

Linen fabric costs far more than a blend or artificially created fabrics. That is what makes our clothing high quality. Everything is hand crafted in the United States, and ethically made. Most clothing is not, which makes a higher price point harder for most Americans to justify.
